Introduction

DateSync is a tool to help sync the timestamp of files in two different directories which contain the "same" files (files with the same name). For example, if you've copied all your pictures or music from one location to another and do not want to lose the "Created Time" timestamp information, you can use this tool to sync the copied files in the new directory with the timestamp of files in the old directory. You can also have it copy the data for you while preserving the timestamp information.

Some key features include:

• Syncs "Created", "Last Modified" and "Last Accessed" timestamp values
• Sync directories and all sub-directories inside of it (sync tree)
• Set "Created Time" to oldest available time (sometimes 'Modified Time' has the timestamp you actually want)
• Copy files to the new directory maintaining all timestamps the same
• Support to sync Image files "Date Picture Taken" attribute
