Introduction

DJExtractor is a tool to help rip, encode and tag Promotional DJ subscription services CDs and DVDs with almost no user interaction required. This is a great tool to have if you are a Promotional DJ service subscriber who wants to have your collection transferred to your computer for archiving purposes or personal DJ use.

Currently, the tool works with the Promo Only and the ScreenPlay DJ Subscription service, and others may be added in the future if interest arises.

Some key features include:

• One-Click ripping, encoding, and extensive tagging of Promo Only CDs and DVDs to disk
• Encodes the ripped content to compressed formats with native support for MP3 (audio), WMV or MP4 (video)
• Natively Encode to any other format desired by using other Expression Encoder Templates or an External Encoder
• Names and tags files based on content downloaded from the web (no need to type any Artist/Song/etc information)
• Supports individual or Smart Batch tagging of previously ripped/encoded files
• Fixes file date/time to match album release date (so that you can better organize your albums by release date)

Some know limitations include:

• Currently Works with Promo Only USA CDs and DVDs or ScreenPlay DVDs.
